Filipino Garlic Fried Rice

Instructions

• Pre-cook the rice in a rice cooker or in a pot and set aside
• Mince the garlic cloves or put in a food processor to do it more quickly
• Cut the green onions into thin slices. Use the whole package that comes at the grocery store
• Heat a few tablespoons of good olive oil in a wok
• Add in the onions and cook until softened
• Add in the garlic and cook for a couple minutes until golden brown and fragrant
• Add in the rice
• Drizzle a few tablespoons of olive oil over the rice and stir everything to combine. Do not use too much oil or it will overpower the recipe
• Fry the rice stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes
• Remove from the heat and serve
