by: Michael ZennerPosted on: May 19, 2024May 19, 2024 DINNER / MEXICAN / CHICKEN Chicken Fajitas Instructions Fajitas Thinly slice the bell peppers, onions and chicken Heat a cast iron skillet to medium Drizzle some olive oil on the bottom and put in half the bell pepper and onions Stir to cover them in the olive oil Shake a generous helping of fajita seasoning over the top. Stir to combine Cover the skillet and occasionally stir the vegetables every 5 minutes or so. Note: be patient on this step. You'll want to slightly blacken the vegetables and this takes time, but it's worth it Once the vegetables are blackened, repeat steps 3-6 with the remaining vegetables Once all the vegetables are done, repeat steps 3-6 with the chicken strips Keep all of the cooks ingredients in the oven on warm Fixins Lay out several flour tortillas Add vegetables and chicken Add your desired fixins and serve Ingredients Fajitas flour tortillas 1 lb chicken breast 3 bell peppers, yellow/orange/red 1 large white onion fajita seasoning olive oil Fixins shredded lettuce shredded mexican cheese sour cream guacamole
