You will need to use a candy thermometer. Remove from heat Immediately put in baking soda and stir quickly and thoroughly Immediately pour mixture into a 9x13 metal baking pan. Do NOT stir Mixture will be puffy at first but settle over time. Let it settle and cool for several hours Once mixture is totally cooled, you can twist the pan to pop it out. Use a butter knife to break apart the mixture into bite sized pieces Outside Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate and the wax Once melted, place a couple pieces in the double boiler to cover them in chocolate Use a small slotted spoon to remove the coated pieces. Put them on wax paper to harden Ingredients Inside 1 cup sugar 1 cup dark corn syrup 1 tbsp white vinegar 2 tbsp baking soda Outside 1 lb 60% cocao chocolate chips 1 oz paraffin wax
