by: Michael ZennerPosted on: December 28, 2024January 2, 2025 DINNER / AMERICAN / CHICKEN Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta Gallery Instructions Chicken and Pasta Cut the chicken into thin strips Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder Put olive oil and butter into a large skillet and heat Add the chicken and fully cook, stirring occasionally to brown all sides Remove chicken from skillet and set aside Meanwhile, boil water in large pot and cook pasta until al dente Drain and reserve 1 cup pasta water Sauce Cut the bell peppers into thin slices Put the other 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet that you cooked the chicken in Cook the peppers until softened Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute Add the chicken broth Lower the heat and add the heavy cream, lemon juice and zest Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened Add the parmesan and stir until melted Add the chicken to the sauce and stir to combine Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine Use the reserved pasta water to get desire sauce thickness Ingredients Chicken and Pasta 1 lb chicken breast salt pepper garlic powder 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp butter 1 lb linguine Sauce 2 tbsp butter 1 red bell pepper 1 yellow bell pepper 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup heavy cream 2 lemons, zest and juice 1/4 cup parmesan, grated 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
